Electrical Swivelling Tow Hitch

Unique and functional, the New Passat’s Electrical Swivelling Tow Hitch removes the hassle of towing by unlocking at the push of a button. Able to accommodate towing capacities of up to 3.5 tonnes, the Electrical Swivelling Tow Hitch is optional on all models.

16" Phiola/Perugia, 17" Corona/Fontan

Light and Sight packag

The Light and Sight package consists of two highly advanced features: the auto dimming interior mirror that blocks out potentially dangerous light reflected by oncoming traffic, front windshield wiper with intermittent control and rain sensor and automatic headlamp activation with separate daytime running lights.

Auto-hold function

The road ahead may have its ups and downs, but to ensure that the ups don’t get the best of you, the Auto-hold function activates on an incline, keeping your vehicle stationary until pressure is applied to the accelerator pedal. The Auto-hold function then disengages and allows acceleration.

Dual Airbag

The New Passat has been designed to ensure that you’ll be safe no matter where your journey takes you. Equipped with a total of 6 airbags as standard: driver and passenger side front airbags and front and rear curtain airbags, it’s no wonder that the New Passat has a 5-star Euro NCAP Safety Rating.
