New two-piece rear lights with integrated indicators incorporating LED technology enhance the rear styling, adding contemporary style and giving the New Jetta its distinctive identity. Sleek contours, sculpted bodylines and aesthetic detail round off the all-new design, which from front to back, exudes quality and refinement.

Seen in profile, the increased vehicle width is obvious and an indication of how the New Jetta is re-inventing the mid-sized sedan. From the powerful shoulder line to the wheel arches, the New Jetta cuts an imposing figure while maintaining a timeless elegance.

“Climatic” air conditioning produces a pleasant, consistent temperature throughout your journey. It's extremely user-friendly, automatically achieving and regulating your required cabin temperature quickly and efficiently. Available as an optional feature is the "Climatronic" air-conditioning system, with fully automatic 2-zone temperature control - the advantage being the driver and front passenger can adjust their temperatures independently of one another.

The natural leather is pleasant on hand, while the ergonomic design provides a natural feeling of control. Intuitive buttons provide easy radio and cellular phone operation and the three-spoke design echoes the sporty but sophisticated feeling of the New Jetta interior.

The front passenger and driver seats are height adjustable while lumbar support is included on the Comfortline and Highline models for added comfort.

Foldable rear seats with 60:40 split increase the New Jetta’s versatility and handy front centre armrest with storage box ensures a relaxed drive. The high-quality premium interior ignites the senses and re-energises the spirit – it is the ultimate feel good car!

Passive safety features include a curtain airbag system for front and rear passengers, front seat side impact airbags, and standard driver and front passenger airbags with passenger’s airbag deactivation switch. This comprehensive airbag system has a special sensor system that detects crash intensity and deploys the airbags faster than ever before.

The whiplash optimised front head restraints and three-point seat belts ensure an even safer drive. The front seat belts are fitted with tensioners and are height-adjustable for added protection and comfort with a warning light and buzzer to notify you if your seat belt is unfastened.

Further active safety features include an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and an Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), with brake assist and supported by Electronic Differential Lock (EDL). The TSI engines benefit from direct injection technology and turbocharging. Precision engineered, the new generation TSI engine range offers outstanding driving enjoyment. TDI

The latest common rail diesel technology provides exceptional torque throughout the rev range with the benefit of low fuel consumption. The TDI is available in 1.6 77kW TDI, 1.6 77kW TDI DSG® and the more powerful 2.0 103 kW TDI.

Cruise Control

From speeds as low as 30 km/h, the cruise control function maintains the speed set by the driver, helping to achieve relaxed driving especially over long distances. The cruise control system helps out by storing and maintaining the driver's selected speed. You can also briefly increase or decrease the set speed manually by a defined increment or deactivate the system altogether.
