Design

The combination of elements at the front of the Kombi and the Caravelle give a sense of the power under the bonnet. A sleek front grille is framed by two slender halogen headlights with daytime running lights and double reflectors as standard for extra visibility. The sloping front end and colour-coded bumper give them an even sportier feeling.

You’ll find style and substance at the back of the Kombi and the Caravelle. Above the colour-coded bumpers, the back door opens at a lower level for easy loading. The rear window comes with a wiper as standard and is heated for a clearer view. There’s also a high-level third brake light for added safety.

You’ll be impressed by the sleek lines of the Kombi and the Caravelle. The large tinted windows balance perfectly with the horizontal lines of the side panels. Every element has been carefully considered - from the generous dual-sliding doors to the stylish colour-coded wing mirrors.

Forget everything you've heard about diesel engines, because in the Kombi and Caravelle you really can enjoy the best of both worlds with new common rail TDI technology. Each of the TDI units available features new unit injector technology - offering improved fuel consumption and exceptional performance. And with the all new, compact and low weight 132kW 2.0 BiTDI 4-cylinder engine available in the Caravelle, the range is comprehensive!

Available in certain models, innovative DSG® dual-clutch gearboxes offer previously unattained shifting comfort – removing the once well-defined boundaries between automatic and manual transmissions. DSG® features two driving programmes: normal mode and sport mode. In sport mode, the DSG® dual-clutch gearbox shifts up later for higher revs and shifts down earlier.
